"Still New, Dutch Design"
Typeface Design

This typeface series got inspiration from Dutch Design. When I took Studio 1 Class, I choose three Dutch designers: Piet Zwart, Willem Sandberg, Paul Schuitema. I designed the stamp and information card with the same concept with this project.

Even though their works created almost 100 years ago, it gives a lot of inspiration for designers still. Graphic design of the 1920’s was more than just a movement or a particular style. With the world’s best technological advancements and optimistic efforts since World War I, over 20 years design of have developed and have never been seen before.

People cheered for ‘the newest thing’ at that time. Designers started to use the new technologies in their work such as photographer and printer. Advertising design has developed a lot in that time. They enjoyed using the new technology in their work such as photography and printer. They used the grid very playful and used some specific colors to make interesting. Moreover, their works are very humorous.
